South African veteran JP Duminy admitted that his team wasn’t picking the wrong 'uns of India’s wrist spinners after India took an unassailable 3-0

South African veteran JP Duminy admitted that his team wasn’t picking the wrong 'uns of India’s wrist spinners after India took an unassailable 3-0 lead in the 6-match series at Cape Town on Wednesday.

Chasing 304 built around a magnificent 160 not out from skipper Virat Kohli, South Africa crumbled to 179. Spin twins from India, Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav once again shone with four wickets each.

“I think the key is definitely to try and be positive. But unfortunately on a few occasions, we haven’t picked their wrong ’uns,” Duminy said at the post-match press conference on Wednesday, according to an IOL report.

“And when you are not picking their wrong ’un, you are not necessarily comfortable at the crease, so you are always going to be a little tentative.

“I think once you become comfortable with picking their deliveries, that’s when you can play with confidence, play with freedom. So, we need to find a way to get that right,” he added.

Chahal and Yadav have picked up 21 wickets across the three matches.
