Mahendra Singh Dhoni will achieve yet another milestone when India take on Sri Lanka in the fourth ODI on Thursday. He will be featuring in his 300th ODI.
Under the scanner, Dhoni has responded well with the bat and behind the stumps. And, none other than former Australia captain Michael Clarke was impressed. He took to Twitter and wrote, "playing some outstanding cricket in both forms against Sri Lanka @msdhoni has been on fire".
In the 2nd ODI, Dhoni and Bhuvneshwar Kumar added 100 runs for the 8th wicket to steer India home. In the third ODI, he featured in another century stand with Rohit Sharma as India clinched the ODI series. On both occasions, India were in trouble.
Dhoni is all set to join an elite list of Indians to have played 300 matches -- Sachin Tendulkar (463), Rahul Dravid (344), Mohammed Azharuddin (334), Sourav Ganguly (311) and Yuvraj Singh (304).
